Hi there. I love orchids! Why?
It is very hard to make them happy but once you achieve it is so rewarding… Look.
You will see here few approaches, however the goal is one- flowers. The extraordinary part is to convert orchids to Full Water Culture (FWC). Often achieved by tempering orchids first in Semi Water Culture (SWC) or using leca beads. Following are results according to orchid types:

Dendrobium
Here is a transformation of my Dendrobium orchids.
May 2018, Dendrobium Hawaii Fancy. It was a present from my husband. Came from Maui without flowers. Bloomed at home. Not transferred yet…

Phalaenopsis Bellina“Jungle”x sib’#2′ x bellina v. coerulea. VERY Fragrant!
… and very expensive. It was thriving in humid bath window (never moved to water culture). RIP

Phal. bellina var.alba. Brought it from Maui Orchid Show, soilless. Kept in Semi Water Culture (SWC) since then. Flower never bloomed and died. Currently (2019) still have a spike but noticed a tiny baby around roots.
